The Barn Theatre

Cirencester’s The Barn Theatre launched as a professional venue in March 2018, after a £4.5 million makeover. 10A’s task has been to help The Barn transform itself from a little-known theatre in the Cotswold capital into a venue capable of causing a stir, not just locally but also on the world stage.

OUR APPROACH

At its heart, The Barn Theatre is about transformation – through its actors’ performances and its teachers’ advice to their students. 10A created a brand film which highlights the transformational nature of The Barn through the eyes of a little girl who has accompanied her father to work there and is transported to a magical world.

A dynamic logo

We wanted to create a dynamic, adaptable logo that reflected The Barn Theatre’s transformative qualities. Our solution was a logo that is powerful in its own right, yet can be adapted to become a part of its surroundings by the addition of colour or even moving image.

An intuitive, flexible design

The Barn Theatre website caters for two very different audiences. 1. Theatre goers who simply want to know what’s on. 2. Potential supporters who require a lot more in-depth information. Our intuitive, flexible, responsive design ensures a smooth experience for both types of user.

The Secret Garden

The Barn’s inaugural professional production The Secret Garden: a musical opened on 16 March 2018. We created a show poster that announces both the show and the arrival of The Barn as a professional venue.
